Power Point Presentation
The CHM metadata management tool (MMT) is used for managing national CHMs metadata.
Its primary role is to make the data and information, collected by national
CHMs more accessible.
The MMT has two main parts - public and administrative.
The public part allows users to search the metadata by: country,
language, category (the main categories in the CHM: news, legislation,
education, scientific information etc) and keywords.
The administrative part has two units - general administration and information node (IN) administration.
The general
administrator manages the whole service and can add, edit and
delete: users (information nodes ), categories, languages, countries
and metafiles.
The information nodes are actually the national CHMs with their metadata, structures by country, category and language.
They are managed by information node (IN) administrator, who can add, edit and delete national CHM's metadata.
